IPL PhotoFacial Treatments
If you’re an active person, chances are you spend more than your fair share of time in the sun. And if you’re over thirty, you are more than likely to show signs of premature aging due to sun damage and age spots. With IPL PhotoFacials, you can now treat sun spots, pigmented lesions and overall skin texture-giving you a more revitalized appearance than you’ve had in years.
Are skin imperfections giving away your age? IPL PhotoFacials can clear your skin of unwanted age spots and can defuse redness. You deserve to look your best.
If you are doing our IPL PhotoFacials you should be utilizing our zinc based sunblock and possibly a skin lightening agent (one month prior to treatment) that will assist your skin with these issues.
With Laser Facials/IPL, you can reduce:
- Rosacea (redness)
- Age spots
- Uneven skin tone
- Sun damaged skin
- Broken facial vessels
How does it work?
IPL PhotoFacials work by directing a beam of light to an irregularity in the skin, such as enlarged blood vessels or irregular chromophore. This removes the abnormality without scarring or damage, while stimulating collagen production to tighten the surrounding tissue, resulting in improved skin texture and reduced signs of aging. For more aggressive and extreme results the highest level of treament is our fractional eMatrix (this is totally different from a laser facial), visit our fractional eMatrix treatments.
When to get treated?
The best time to get treated is in the fall or winter when you have no tan or sun exposure. After exposure and damage of summer sun this is a great treatment to repair your skin.
Is the treatment painful?
The laser skin treatment causes only minimal discomfort, requires no numbing agents and is basically painless. You will only feel mild heat during your 10-15 minute treatment.
How many treatments are required?
In most cases three treatments are required for the full-face treatment. The average treatment takes about 15-30 minutes. Results may be seen after the first few treatments.
How long does recovery take?
You’ll be able to return to normal activities immediately, though sunscreen should be applied as a post-treatment precaution.
